10,000 subscribers! When I started the channel and, shortly after, told a friend of mine — also a Linux user — that I had created YouTux with an artificial voice, he laughed and said: “The day you reach 10,000 subscribers, I’ll give you 100 euros.”
His doubts were many: the Linux niche is the toughest and most anti-mainstream on all of YouTube, and I’m far too unclassifiable to be a “successful” creator. He believes that critical, complex, and articulate minds are struggling to find space on this platform.
He’s always advised me to write a book — which, by the way, I’m actually doing. Well, today I’d like to tell my friend that he was wrong.
